Just Another One (Original)

Description

How sad are the nightime city streets. Streets filled in some places with gangs, thieves, scammers and who knows what else. The song  was written about some involved in the night life which can be so short , especially if one has decided to be joined to a gang that makes them feel somehow wanted. Sadly their home life has not brought them comfort , love or security. They may not return from their nightly dangers. These sad conditions bring constant worry and anxiety to the life of their loved ones and constant fear to those who may be in danger during the night.  Unfortunately I spent some time on those streets  as a young person but was able get away. Leaders have tried to solve these city problems but with little success. In the future and even now young persons can be taught and loved by the Creator who gave them life and gives them direction and answers all their questions. (See the books  ‘Young ask , answers that work’ volumes 1 & 2  at JW.org)  That is how the Psalmist felt at Psalm 71:17 states  “O God, you have taught me from my youth, And until now I keep declaring your wonderful works.” What benifits will there be?  Acts 2:17 answers, “And in the last days,” God says, “I will pour out some of my spirit on every sort of flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy and your young men will see visions and your old men will dream dreams”. Having Gods spirit on one creates abilities perviously unknown. Isnt’ that better than ‘not coming home tonight’.  These are the thoughts behind the song, ‘Just another one’.
