Sleepy brown eyes (Behind the song)

When loved ones are pulled apart like this world so often does, they long to see ,touch and feel again. So much pulling apart goes on, so much ripping of lives, by the bullies of the world whether world leaders or just terrors of the school yard. The attitude of people that wrongly want to do harm to others is well expressed in these words found in John 16:2, “In fact, the hour is coming when everyone who kills you will think he has offered a sacred service to God”.  True Christians would have to face such bullies and be torn apart as a result .How is it that people develop such an attitude that helps them destroy a life of another. In Russia there are persons being thrown into prison just for worshiping GOD.  They are Jehovah’s Witnesses! The same happens in some other countries as well. During the Nazi regime over 20,000 were persecuted or killed. Why is that such bullies want to take the freedom  not follow their status quo, away from honest and sincere people. Revelation 12:17 answers with these words, “So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to wage war with the remaining ones of her offspring, who observe the commandments of God and have the work of bearing witness concerning Jesus.” An angel that rebelled against God who is identified in verse 9 is responsible for such bullying. But not only this group have suffered, what about all persons of whatever faith and lifestyle in the past and today in Syria, Ukraine, Haiti, and many other places where people have been torn apart and those who survived  made refugees separated from those they love. When will this bullying  STOP???  The answer is contained in Psalm 37:10, 20   “Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there”. “The enemies of Jehovah will vanish like glorious pastures; They will vanish like smoke.” ;–Psalm 37:10, 20   At some point in the near future this action will take place and all loved ones will finally never be kept apart again for these circumstances will prevail;  “But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace”. “The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it”.—Psalm 37:11,29. All the above provide the thoughts behind the song, ‘sleepy brown eyes’.
