I Feel Just like a frog (Behind the song)

It was 1975 long lines had been forming to get gas and the news kept saying we may be facing a recession or was it a depression, or was it a recession. Now in 2026 we are making those same judgements. I am not an economist so I don’t know , I just feel like a frog listening to all this. Know one knows the future. So  we just sometimes have to deal with things in front of us in the wisest way and leave the future to what Jerimiah 29:11 says “‘For I well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you,’ declares Jehovah, ‘thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.”  That future is clearly stated in Psalm 37:10,11, “Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, And they will not be there.11 But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.” No more feeling like a frog!
