Lover, where am I now (Behind the song)
One of the hardest thing to adjust to is a loss , especially if the loss is another human being! When what was a wonderful beginning turns out to be a broken and sad ending. A relationship gone bad of which helplessness is the frustrating inability to turn things around. The future is bleak! As the song says is this breakup, “Just like taking off a hat…are we strangers so fast”. The change is devastating for the one who never saw it coming. These wise word focus on what is needed, “Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, But a good word cheers it up”—Proverbs 12:25. We can’t get through it on our own , we need someone to cheer us up. Then we have to grow to the point that we have to just let it go! Proverbs 17:9 says, “Whoever forgives a transgression seeks love, But the one who keeps harping on a matter separates close friends.” The longer one takes to adjust and accept the reality of the situation , the more damage one does to oneself and those close to one. It is important to get to , as another song says, ‘A Time to Grow’, so as to grow into a new life and presence.

are the years written off just like that
Is it gone with just the shake of a hand
Are we strangers so fast
We once ran and we were one
You once swore to me under the sun
