UPSIDE DOWN (Behind the song)

Have you ever been upside down. You are definitely out of your comfort zone. Once MR Spock of the original Star Trek series was upside down which was totally out of his non- emotional character.  All to do with some flower spewing infections that changed the goals and emotions of its recipients. Some people hang upside down on a special apparatus when their  back is out . Upside down pineapple cake turns most of us upside down because of its taste bud ticklers . It also happens when we fall in love where everything becomes upside down. The writer of the song of Solomon who already had a thousand beautiful wives and concubines was very upside down over a Shulamite girl who must have been incredibly beautiful against those wives. He pleaded for her hand with these words, “There may be 60 queens And 80 concubines And young women without number.  But only one is my dove, my flawless one. The only one of her mother. She is the favorite of the one who bore her. The daughters see her, and they pronounce her happy; Queens and concubines, and they praise her. ‘Who is she who shines like the dawn, As beautiful as the full moon, As pure as the sunlight, As breathtaking as armies around their banners?” Song of Solomon 6:8-10. When we find someone that turns us really upside down as the song says, “I was broken, cold and lonely, then you took my hand”.  To give so completely to someone in need can turn you upside down and that action is what was behind the song, “Upside down”
