Just Hold On (Behind the song)

What we hope takes time! We have to,” Just hold on” and not give up. Years ago I saw a bumper sticker in Tampa, Florida that said, “I feel much better now that I have given up hope” At first I thought what a terrible thing to give up hope. But later I realized there are hopes that we have to give up on. They are false hopes with nothing substantial supporting them. They are unrealistic dreams that one would never have the power to fulfill and they cause one to be depressed when trying achieve them and failing.. When we lay aside and bury such asperations we make room for what we really can achieve and that produces fulfillment and satisfaction. There are many hopes worth pursuing and achievable and the song focuses on those hopes even though they may be like a windstorm, the calm is sure to come afterward. Then all the abundance that sailing ships could bring to a suffering population by their constant replenishments. But all hopes must be a beautiful vision in a strong heart that persists with constant verification strengthening its concepts. DON ‘T GIVE UP HOPE when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel and you have the determination to reach it. A beautiful hope worth holding on to is the following, ” With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them.  And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:3,4. A completely wonderful hope in a changed earthly scenario! It is worth taking the time to confirm its validify.
