One More Time (Behind the song)

Does one ever have a second chance to restore what was lost just one more time. Sometimes there are so many obstacles to restarting what was lost as the song says,  ‘so many mountains, so many chains, so many rivers , too many canyons to cross’. But strong determination to do so is the only way to be able to conquer such large obstacles. There are many obstacles in life in addition to those that are keeping us  from a relationship that we cherish. For instance  Luke 21:18 states,“By your endurance you will preserve your lives”. This is even a greater loss that loosing a relationship, life itself is involved!  1 Timothy 6:19 focuses on something that needs to be firmly acquired when it says, “work at good, to be rich in fine works, to be generous, ready to share,   safely treasuring up for  {oneself} a fine foundation for the future, so that {one} may get a firm hold on the real life.” What is this real life that one must  cross many mountains,  many chains,  many rivers , and many canyons  to obtain. This is a thing worth more than all the wealth and life in todays world. It is spoken of at John 17:3, “This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ.” The value of Everlasting life is incalculable and only requires persistence in getting to know and act upon the views of the two persons mentioned. One must look for all that they outline as a path to gain everlasting life. So really every one is given a second chance as the song says ,’one more time’.
