There is no time (Behind the song)

It seems that time keeps going by ever faster, and there is no time for anything. As the song alludes to even the simple and most important things. It seems all is structured to keep us running. The other day when in a group discussing this, one individual brought out that really every one needs to stop and meditate on the most important things and reflect on where this fast paced life is taking us. Isaiah 41:22 admonishes , “Produce evidence and tell us the things that will happen. Do tell us about the former things, So that we may reflect on them and know their outcome. Or declare to us the things that are coming.” To do the above recommendation requires the taking of time to listen and analyze. One needs time to meditate on why we are here , who is responsible for this unique life, this unique planet and this unique universe. We are counseled to  ‘remember the days of old;  meditate on all your activity;  eagerly ponder over the work of your hands’– Psalm 143:5. We have to ask ourselves have we really take the time to really investigate or do we accept the opinion of others because we think they are educated. In this rat race we must take the time to think for ourselves by taking the time to make an examination of matters, rather than being conditioned by others whether they be religious or secular influencers. We just can’t say there is no time to such important matters. To arrive at correct knowledge and truth takes time and shows appreciation for what we have.
