Tomorrow is another day (Behind the song)
Wil tomorrow be just another new day to start over and forget the painful past or will it be a
major change to a different life. In a relationship there are many ups and downs,
so one has to decide if these ups and downs are toxic and dangerous or things that can
worked out together. The latter can only be done if the following is present; “ Do nothing out of contentiousness or out of egotism, but with humility consider others superior to you, as you look out not only for your own interests, but also for the interests of others”—Philippians 2: 3,4 Without this flexible attitude tomorrow may not come to be a positive day. But if there is growth and improvement and real changes little by little then tomorrow can be another day to keep improving. The song speaks of such a relationship where two people are able to leave the past buried as it should be, but learn from it ,apologize , and develop new patterns of conduct. Then tomorrow can be a new wonderful day to put into practice these changes. These thoughts were behind the song.
