Waiting For You (Behind the song)

In a relationship that is unbalanced one partner sometimes finds themselves waiting for the other partner to mature. In most cases it is the female partner that is waiting for her male partner to grow up. Usually, the male species lags behind in this area. Some married males keep living as if  they are still single with their male toys and friends. So, she keeps waiting!  A woman’s patience is remarkable, and she keeps hoping he will come around. She does as Ephesians 4:2 states,  “with all humility and mildness, with patience, putting up with one another in love”,  She knows “By patience a commander is won over, And a gentle tongue can break a bone.- Proverbs 25:15.  And in many cases he finally comes around and takes on the role of a loving husband. These are the thoughts behind the song that is actually about personal acquaintances that endured these circumstances and finally achieved a positive outcome.
